How far in advance can I make a reservation?

You can reserve an RV 60 days in advance by paying half of the rental fee and security deposit (remaining balance is charged 2 weeks before the scheduled rental day). 

 

How old do I need to be to reserve a motorhome?

You need to be 25 years or older to make a reservation.

 

How long can I keep a rental?

Minimum rental period is 2 days. When making your reservation, ask us about the maximum.

 

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made 21 days prior to pick-up will be fully refunded. After that, we are unable to refund your reservation.

 

Are pets allowed in the motorhome?

Sorry, no. An additional $150 cleaning fee will be issued if any animal hair is found inside the motorhome or it is discovered this rule has been broken).

 

What are the smoking/vaping policies? 

We strictly enforce a non-smoking policy in our vehicles. A penalty of $250 will be charged at drop off if we detect cigarette, cigar, pipe and vaping, etc. odors in the vehicle.

How does insurance work? 

You are responsible for providing insurance covering any and all damage, casualty to and loss of the RV. Your personal vehicle insurance policy may not provide coverage of a rented recreational vehicle. Contact your insurance company for coverage information or to add coverage. Proof of insurance will be required upon pick up. If you are unable to show coverage with your own insurance, there will be additional charges (see reservation agreement).

 

Is the motorhome available the days I want it? 

Call, text or email and someone will let you know immediately. Your date is held with your deposit and half the amount of the daily rental. 

 

Does the motorhome have any supplies for during my rental? 

We will happily send you a list of those items that will be stocked in the motorhome. Otherwise, you need to bring what you will need.

 

Can I tow my car or boat behind the motorhome? 

No. Towing can be hard on the motors, so at this time we would ask that you not.

 

Do I need a special license?

No. All you need is to be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license. No special endorsement is needed. Temporary or digital licenses are not accepted. All drivers must be present, listed on and sign the Rental Agreement and will be bound by Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement at pick up. 

 

If I park at campgrounds, will I need to pay for that? 

Yes. Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay between $10 and $50 per night. We encourage you to plan ahead to know where you can park the motorhome and how much it will cost.

 

What kind of facilities might a campground offer?

A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store.

 

Is it safe to drink the water from a motorhome tank?

No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when you fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.

 

What constitutes a “Rental Day?”

Similar to a hotel, the Rental Day is based on the number of nights the vehicle is used. Each night constitutes a rental day.

 

What if the motorhome breaks down?

Please call us immediately if you run into any issues on your trip. We will do what we can, as soon as we can, to get you back on the road.

Is there a charge for the generator? 

Yes. After included hours are used (4 hours per rental day are included: i.e. 4 hours for 4 days is 12 hours), the generator charge is $3.00 per hour

Is there a charge for mileage? 

Yes. After included miles are used (100 miles per rental day are included: i.e. 100 miles for 4 days is 400 miles). Additional miles beyond the included amount are $0.40 a mile.

 

Can I leave my car at Smart Price while we travel?

No. There is very limited space in our parking lot and no safety guarantee.
